Challenge the Process: Mental Blocks
When we're stuck on a tough challenge, it's important to stop and think before getting frustrated. I worked with a team of students to try to save puzzles with blocks. We did not complete the whole challenge, but we were proud pf ourselves because we worked together and got more of the tasks done than we thought possible.

Leadership Lessons Learned Abroad
I sat on a panel to talk about what I learned during my study abroad semester. Reflection is an important part of the leadership process. It is crucial to reflect on our experiences because our removed perspectives allow us to see the past in a new light. I learned a lot studying abroad, but through the process of giving advice to others, I found myself learning even more.

Distinguished Visiting Writer Reading: Lilly Dancyger
This DVW session was with a memoirist. I learned that feedback can change our perspectives on our own work. Dancygers queried her memoir for a long time before it was published. She received feedback that she should incorperate her own story into the work that was originally about her brother. Instead of being discouraged, she took this feedback and created a beautiful book!
