My spring involvement goal was to grow my involvement level in the organizations I participate in.
BomberTHON
IC BomberTHON is a Dance Marathon that works with Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital and Miracle Network. This semester I served as the Co-Director of Dancer Relations and helped oversee communications to plan our six hour virtual event! My goal was to apply skills learned in my major to a nonprofit setting.
BUZZSAW Magazine
BUZZSAW is a student-run publication on campus. My goal this semester was to work on a nonfiction piece. This semester with Buzzsaw I wrote one piece for the Upfront section on the Satanic Panic, and began my training to take over as Upfront Editor for Fall 2021.
DISTINCT Magazine
Distinct is a fashion and lifestyle publication on campus. This semester I wrote an article and began copyediting for the publication. My goal was to gain professional editing experience.
