Transportation Issues - Sustainability
This SLI taught me about how transportation emissions impact the environment. In 2020, 26,6% of US energy can be accounted for in transportation. I learned that to mitigate my carbon footprint, I can walk, bike, car pool, or take action in the Finger Lakes to offset may carbon footprint after a long drive.

Extraverts & Introverts: How to Use Your Preference as a Student Leader
I am an introvert. In this session we answered questions to look at our leadership styles. This SLI showed me that I have strengths in empathy, listening, deep thinking, and making 1:1 connections. I learned that as an introvert, I will have to work to overcome the stereotypical expectations of a leader. Areas for me to focus on include taking time for myself and not getting stuck in my own head.

Effective Procrastination
This SLI taught me that sometimes procrastination is the right thing to do. I should not to be frustrated with myself for waiting to complete a task and to recognize the ways I benefit from healthy pressure. I learned that active procrastination is intentionally shuffling one's tasks to allows tasks to be completed under pressure.
